Valeria Rodriguez

Valeria Rodriguez is a dedicated mother, bilingual children's book author, illustrator, and educator with a passion for purpose-driven travel and pushing her limits—both physically and spiritually. She thrives on challenges that test endurance, creativity, and resilience, inspiring those around her to embrace growth and possibility.


With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Instructional Technology from St. Thomas University, Valeria has spent over 15 years as a science educator, designing curricula that foster problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. She co-created a children's book published through a grant from the International Space Stationalongside her friend and collaborator, Javier Montiel, and has contributed illustrations to numerous projects, including four published works by other authors.


Beyond the classroom and the art studio, Valeria is an avid endurance athlete, having completed races ranging from 5Ks to marathons, triathlons of all distances, and even the full Ironman. Her dedication to fitness mirrors her approach to life—pushing past barriers, embracing discomfort, and continuously striving for growth.


As a traveler, Valeria is in constant awe of our planet, using her experiences to inspire deeper connections between people and the world around them. She believes in the power of clear communication, storytelling, and visual art to foster understanding and connection. Through her work, she empowers learners of all ages to believe that anything is possible with the right skills, mindset, and tools to navigate life’s challenges.


Her greatest inspiration? Her 15-year-old son, who is running full speed into his own incredible journey—carrying forward the values of perseverance, curiosity, and purpose that he has learned from his family.
